A new year is here, and the old one seems a very long while ago already. 2009 was a busy year for BCBCS and the year ahead appears to be more so.
We have some exciting plans as the year unfolds, including the start of a 'Stay and Play' group for tots and carers to have fun and friendship. We also plan to launch a new children's club which will replace Creation Club, this will be for 7 - 11's and will run on a weekly basis. And if that wasn't enough we hope to re-launch our Youth Club for 11 - 14's again on a once a week basis. Keep a look out for more details as these plans begin to come together.

On another note we are delighted to announce that we have secured funding which will enable us to open our very own Christians against Poverty Centre here. This will provide invaluable help to local people who find themselves on the wrong side of the credit crunch and are struggling to make the financial figure work add up. Again look out for more info on this great new ministry.
We had a wonderful start to the year, with a baptism on our first Sunday and the welcome of two new deacons just this week. God the Holy Spirit is at work amongst us and we are delighted to see people commit themselves to God's kingdom in so many ways.

What's New on the site? The site has now been designed with cross browser compatibility issues resolved which means it can now be accessed with Firefox etc. A daily Bible reading feature has been added to the homepage! Check out the new content in the Media section where you can see and hear us, and don't forget to look at the updated Events Calendar so you know what's going on! The site is still being developed, and there may a few links which do not do what we they're supposed to do, so please be patient and keep coming back to see what new stuff we have for you... Thanks
